Member of Finance and and Estates Committee
Following a varied and successful 24-year career as a military engineer, Paul left the army for the public sector in 2001 and held Estates and Operational leadership roles at The British Library and Imperial War Museum. He joined The National Archives in 2008 as Head of Estates and Facilities, becoming the Operations Director in 2016. Paul retired as a Senior Civil Servant in June 2021. He is a Trustee and Council Member at the National Army Museum, and also works at the Royal Botanic Gardens in Kew.
