Getting to LEH

We know getting to and from school can be stressful. That’s why we take the strain out of the school run by offering an extensive, regular, reliable, and safe school coach service in conjunction with Hampton School covering 26 coach routes.

Safety is paramount to our service; in the mornings pupils are dropped off on the school side of Hanworth Road within easy walking distance of their respective pedestrian entrances. In the afternoon both schools supervise the process of loading coaches on their own sites.

Where our coaches go

The service is run by Pupilcoach Ltd, a company owned jointly by LEH and Hampton School, and around 1,000 pupils travel with us every day. Between us we reach families right across south west London, Surrey, Middlesex and east Berkshire. Coaches arrive at school by about 8.30am and leave promptly at 4.15pm.

Staying late? We’ve got that covered too

Clubs, rehearsals and fixtures don’t always finish at four o’clock, so we run a late coach service on five routes leaving at 6.00pm. It means your daughter can throw herself into everything on offer without you having to rethink the journey home.

The five routes cover:

  • Richmond/Sheen/Putney
  • Kew and Chiswick
  • Kingston/Coombe Lane/Wimbledon
  • Thames Ditton/Esher/Cobham

Other ways to get there

We’re well connected locally. The 111 bus stops right outside and runs between Kingston, Hampton Court, Hampton Station, Hounslow and Heathrow. The R70 comes from Richmond via Twickenham, and the R62, R68, 216, 285, 290 and 490 all serve the area, with the 216 linking up to the 111 about fifteen minutes away.

Hampton station is a fifteen-minute walk, on the Shepperton line from Waterloo. Plenty of our pupils walk or cycle in, and there are secure cycle racks on site.

Any questions?

If you’d like to talk through routes, stops or anything else about the journey, our Coach Co-ordinator will be very happy to help.
