The heart of learning

At LEH, a love of learning comes alive in our vibrant Library. It’s a welcoming space where pupils can explore a rich collection of fiction, non-fiction, and digital resources, everything they need to satisfy curiosity and fuel imaginations.

The Library offers more than just books. Students can enjoy a good story at home from our wide range of books, audio books, revision guides, and access trusted online tools like Encyclopedia Britannica, and keep up-to-date with news articles from publications such as The Day, The Economist, New Scientist and many more. Our wide range of fiction, from bestsellers to new voices, keeps readers excited all year round, supported by a lively Book Club.

Beyond borrowing, the Library connects students to the wider literary world through author visits and participation in the UK-wide Spark Book Awards, where pupils help choose the best new children’s books. It’s a place to discover, discuss, and dream.

Introducing the LEH Library Transformation Project

At LEH, we believe a library should be so much more than a place to house books.

Our exciting new Library Transformation Project will create an inspiring, contemporary learning environment where pupils can read widely, think deeply, collaborate, innovate and develop the confidence to express bold ideas.

As the intellectual heart of LEH, the new Library will support scholarship, creativity, wellbeing and a lifelong love of learning, equipping our pupils with the skills they need for an ever-changing world.
