We are delighted to introduce our two new Upper 2 Eco Representatives, who spoke confidently in assembly this week about their new roles and their plans for the year ahead.
They also celebrated LEH retaining our Eco-Schools Green Flag Award with Distinction, recognising the hard work and commitment of last year’s Eco Committee.
The new Eco Representatives have now launched recruitment for this year’s Eco Squad and Energy Monitors, inviting younger pupils to get involved and help make our school even more environmentally friendly.
Pupils who would like to apply are being asked to prepare a short speech explaining why they would be a good choice for the role, as well as sharing one idea they would introduce to improve our school.
Speeches will be heard during the week beginning Monday 4 October, with one Eco Squad member and one Energy Monitor selected from each class.
We are looking forward to hearing lots of thoughtful and creative ideas from our aspiring eco leaders and seeing what they can achieve this year!
