Victor Ludorum title crowns an outstanding final fortnight of racing at Kingston and Molesey Regattas
LEH Boat Club brought the 2025–26 regatta season to a spectacular close over the past two weekends, with impressive performances across all age groups culminating in the club being awarded the prestigious Victor Ludorum trophy at Molesey Regatta.
The final stretch of the season began at Kingston Regatta, where Lara delivered an excellent performance to win the WJ14 1x. The J13 and J15 squads also enjoyed a successful day on the water, with several crews progressing to their finals and demonstrating the depth and strength of the LEH rowing programme.
The following weekend, LEH returned to race at Molesey Regatta, where the J13–J16 squads enjoyed a remarkable day of competition, securing an outstanding nine victories across singles, doubles and quads.
Gold medals were won by Freya (WJ16 1x), Anna, Chloe, Lara and Lola (WJ16 4x), Lola and Chloe (WJ16 2x), Frieda and Georgie (WJ15 2x), Bella and Emily (WJ15 2x), Aaria, Charlie, Helena, Illona and Basia (WJ15 4x), Sophie (WJ14 1x), Sophie and Isla (WJ14 2x), and Cecily, Ananya, Sophie, Isla and Anika (WJ14 4x+).
A special mention goes to the J13 4x+ crew of Sophia H (cox), Genevieve, Sophia D, Amelie and Annie, who secured their first victory of the season! A fantastic milestone and a fitting reward for their hard work and determination throughout the year.
These exceptional performances across every age group earned LEH the Victor Ludorum, recognising the club as the regatta’s highest-performing school and providing the perfect finale to another hugely successful season.
