Support every step of the way
Starting Senior School is an exciting milestone. At LEH, we make the transition to Year 7 smooth, reassuring and enjoyable, giving every girl the confidence to embrace this next stage of her education.
Our carefully planned transition programme helps new pupils settle quickly, make friends and feel at home from day one. It includes:
- Moving Up Day: A fun and welcoming introduction to Senior School, where new Year 7 pupils meet classmates, explore the campus and get to know their teachers.
- September Induction Day: Year 7 pupils start a day before the rest of the Senior School, giving them extra time to settle in, find their way around with fun treasure hunts and begin their LEH journey with confidence.
- Autumn Term Residential: An exciting weekend away that strengthens friendships, builds resilience and encourages teamwork, helping every girl feel part of the LEH community.
The best of both worlds
LEH combines the many benefits of an outstanding girls’ school with exciting opportunities to collaborate through our long-established partnership with neighbouring Hampton School.
Within our supportive all-girls environment, pupils develop confidence, independence and a strong sense of self. Through shared co-curricular activities with Hampton School, they also enjoy opportunities to work alongside boys in music, drama, leadership, volunteering and other enriching experiences.
By the time our Junior School pupils join Year 7, they are already part of the LEH community. They arrive with established friendships, familiar faces and a genuine enthusiasm for learning. Supported every step of the way, they are ready to thrive academically, discover new interests and make the most of everything Senior School has to offer.
