Alumnae Open Studio Art Trip

Our Art students enjoyed a fantastic visit to the Open Studio event at The Kings Foundation Year, Trinity Buoy Wharf to see what alumnae Safia Panasar and Holly Huber have been creating on their Art Foundation year. We are looking forward to seeing their final show in May.

We were delighted to see so many of our wonderful Class of 2025 alumnae who had all turned up to show their support proving that LEH ties last far longer than the years in school.

At LEH, we believe Art inspires confidence, creativity, and critical thinking and our dedicated Art suite comprising several light and airy Art studios and multi-media platforms providing the perfect spaces for creativity, art displays, exhibitions and open studios. Regardless of whether you choose Art or History of Art as an A level subject you can also follow your passion in these areas through many clubs. Our sixth form Art students also run a very popular Art club for our Junior School pupils, building on the love of creativity all through the school.

Art and Design has a crucial role to play at the centre of science, technology, engineering and mathematics, fostering creativity and innovation, supporting other subjects, industries and sectors. Art makes a significant contribution to the global economy, helping to shape how we see the world.

You can view examples of our wonderful A level  and GCSE Art pieces in the booklet below.
