David qualified as a chartered accountant with a predecessor firm of EY. His career has included experience in the accountancy profession and also in banking where he held a number of finance, compliance, and audit roles. In 2009 he became Bursar of an international day/boarding school in Surrey, retiring in 2017 when he was appointed to the Board. David was a Governor of a local primary school for 25 years, 20 years as Chairman. He is also now a Trustee of a local charity providing services to the elderly. David has a daughter who attended LEH and a son who attended Hampton School. He has been a Governor at LEH since 2018 and Chair of Governors since September 2019.
