A Day Dedicated to Wellbeing

A chance for pupils and staff to pause, recharge and enjoy

On 7 October, the whole school will step away from the usual timetable for a special Wellbeing Day, a chance for pupils and staff to pause, recharge and enjoy a day centred around wellbeing, connection and having fun together.

With a packed programme of activities on offer, there will be something for everyone, whether pupils are looking to get active, try something completely new, get creative, spend time with friends or simply enjoy some quiet time to reset.

For those who like to keep active, the Sports & Health programme will include energetic favourites such as Just Dance and Capture the Flag, alongside opportunities to try something new, including novice rowing. It’s a chance to get moving, challenge yourself and discover an activity you might not normally have the opportunity to try.

Our Creative activities will offer a different way to switch off and get stuck in, with pupils able to explore Brazilian drumming, candle making, balloon animals and much more. Whether they’re discovering a new creative skill or simply enjoying the process, these activities are all about curiosity, expression and having fun.

There will also be plenty of opportunities for pupils to connect and spend time together. Board games, escape rooms and garden games will provide the perfect setting for collaboration, laughter and a little friendly competition.

For those who prefer a quieter pace, our Quiet Reflection activities will offer space to slow down and recharge. Pupils can lose themselves in a good book, experience the calming sounds of gong baths, spend some time with mindful colouring or just lose themselves in a book creating moments of calm within a busy school day.

And, of course, there will be plenty of opportunities simply to have fun. Bubble zorbs are sure to bring plenty of laughter and memorable moments!

Wellbeing Day is an opportunity for the whole school community to come together and recognise that wellbeing looks different for everyone. Whether it’s being active, being creative, connecting with others, taking time to reflect or simply having fun, the day is designed to give everyone the space to do something that makes them feel good.

We’re looking forward to a brilliant day of trying new things, spending time together and putting wellbeing firmly at the heart of the school day.
