LEH Rowers secured several top three finishes at the National Schools’ Regatta
Congratulations to LEH Boat Club on an outstanding performance at this year’s National Schools’ Regatta, where pupils competed against some of the strongest school rowing crews in the country and achieved a series of impressive results.
Across three days of racing, LEH crews demonstrated exceptional commitment, skill and determination, securing several podium finishes and race victories. Highlights included a first-place finish in the J14 2nd 8x+ Time Trial, while LEH crews also claimed victories in the J14 2nd 8x+ Final B and the J15 1st 8+ Final B. In the Championship Girls’ Single Sculls, Senior rower, Evie produced a strong performance to win the Final F, while other crews and athletes recorded top-three finishes across a range of events.
The regatta, widely regarded as the premier schools’ rowing competition in the UK, attracts the highest standard of junior rowing talent. To perform so strongly on the national stage is a reflection of the dedication and resilience shown by our athletes throughout the season. Their achievements are the result of countless hours of training, unwavering teamwork and a commitment to continuous improvement.
These successes would not be possible without the expertise and encouragement of our coaching team, the support of staff and families, and the positive culture that exists within LEH Boat Club. We are incredibly proud of every rower who represented LEH with distinction and sportsmanship throughout the regatta.

LEH Rowing
Rowing at LEH is more than a sport, it’s a close-knit community built on trust, dedication, and teamwork.
LEH Boat Club (LEHBC) is one of the top girls’ rowing programmes in the country winning medals every year at the Scullery, Schools Head and the National Schools Regatta. We regularly qualify a boat for Henley Royal Regatta and have girls attend GB Trials every year with girls often representing Great Britain at the Coupe de la Jeunesse and Junior World Championships. Through access to top-class facilities and expert coaching, our rowers experience personal growth, resilience, and a winning mindset from Year 8 through to Sixth Form. Along their journey, they will understand what it’s like to be part of a team where every single girl is backing each other, and themselves.
Joining the rowing club means forging lasting friendships and embracing accountability, both on and off the water. Our supportive coaches guide every athlete, making each session a chance to improve skills and build confidence in a welcoming environment. We’re passionate about making rowing accessible to all pupils, offering fun, inclusive activities that spark enthusiasm regardless of experience.
