Bold Beginnings to Global Recognition
LEH sisters Amelia and Lydia Miller named Forbes 30 Under 30 finalists, recognised for ivee’s AI-driven social impact success.
Everyone at LEH is delighted to celebrate former pupils Amelia and Lydia Miller, who have been named finalists in the Forbes 30 Under 30 Europe 2026 list for Social Impact.
The sisters, who attended LEH from Junior School through to Sixth Form, are the co-founders of ivee, an AI-powered upskilling and hiring platform helping people navigate career transitions in a rapidly changing workplace. Their inclusion on the prestigious Forbes shortlist is a remarkable achievement and reflects the ambition, creativity and sense of purpose that LEH encourages in its students from an early age.
Amelia and Lydia were inspired to launch ivee after seeing first-hand the challenges their own mother faced when trying to return to work after a career break. Wanting to make that journey easier for others, they created a platform focused on skills, confidence and opportunity, helping people gain practical AI knowledge and connect with supportive employers.
Their story is a powerful example of how LEH students are encouraged not only to achieve academically, but also to think boldly, solve real-world problems and make a positive impact on society. During their time at school, Amelia and Lydia embraced opportunities both inside and outside the classroom, developing the confidence and entrepreneurial mindset that would later help them build a successful business together.
As their idea began to grow, the sisters also received support through LEH’s Be Bold Grant programme, which helps students and alumnae turn innovative ideas into reality. Since then, ivee has gone from strength to strength, including a memorable appearance on BBC’s Dragons’ Den, where Amelia and Lydia impressed viewers and investors alike with their clarity, warmth and vision.
Today, Amelia serves as CEO and Lydia as CTO, leading a company that Forbes reports has already reached more than 100,000 users and works with around 50 corporate clients. Their work is helping people from all backgrounds feel more confident about the future of work and the opportunities AI can bring.
At LEH, we are proud to see former pupils using their education, values and confidence to shape the world around them. Amelia and Lydia’s success reflects the school’s ethos that Hope Favours the Bold encouraging every student to aim high, pursue their passions and approach the future with curiosity and courage.
We are also thrilled that Lydia will return to LEH in July as Guest of Honour at our Celebration of the Year. Her journey from LEH student to internationally recognised entrepreneur will no doubt inspire current pupils as they begin imagining their own futures.
We send Amelia and Lydia our warmest congratulations and look forward to following the next chapter of their exciting journey.
