A Magical Evening of Music and Festive Joy

Our annual Carol Concert, held on Monday 8th December at St Mary’s Church in Hampton, was a great success and a truly memorable celebration of the festive season.

Guests filled the beautifully lit church for an evening of music, community, and Christmas spirit. The programme featured wonderful performances from the Minchkins, Chamber Choir (P’zzazz), Lady El’s Angels, Cantata, and SATB with a wonderful rendition by the Holles Singers of the LEH traditional favourite, Star in the Sky penned by our resident composer, Mr Ashe. Each group brought its own warmth and energy, creating a rich tapestry of sound that delighted the audience.

Alongside the choir performances, there were plenty of opportunities for everyone to join in with much-loved carols. The evening also included thoughtful and uplifting readings of the Christmas story, adding a reflective and traditional touch to the celebration.

To finish the night, guests enjoyed mulled wine and mince pies, shared in good company, and left feeling uplifted and ready for the season ahead.

Thank you to everyone who attended, supported, and performed – you helped make this year’s Carol Concert truly magical.
