Hot on the heels of the fabulous Spring Spectacular, comes the amazing Midsummer Concert on Thursday 7 May and what a programme we have in store! From the unmistakable nostalgia of The Avengers with Sinfonietta, to our ever-spirited Minchkins bringing the energy with a Little Mix medley, this year’s concert promises something for everyone. Lady El’s Angels will be getting down with the kids in a performance of Golden, by the global K-pop phenomenon, while P’zzazz are set to bring the house down with a show-stopping rendition of I Will Survive.
As ever, expect an evening of outstanding musicianship, vibrant performances, and unforgettable moments from across our school. We do hope you will join us.
Music at LEH
LEH’s Music Department buzzes with energy, from our 21 orchestras, ensembles and jazz bands to our six choirs and rock groups and dazzling concerts. Musicians of all levels thrive here. We run a full programme of ABRSM preparation, and through our Friday Live! lunchtime and informal parent events we give budding performers the opportunity to share their talents with the rest of the school. We also run a programme of wonderful events throughout the year to showcase the talent of all our musicians from Summer Spectaculars to Magical Winter Concerts.
Our state-of-the-art facilities include practice rooms, a Steinway Concert Grand piano, and a cutting-edge recording studio. From classical masterpieces to musical theatre hits, LEH’s music scene is vibrant and diverse. Individual lessons cover a wide range of instruments, from flute to guitar, percussion to singing with over 25 instruments currently being taught in the school. We are also keen to add more instruments so open to explore any instrument that a pupil may wish to learn.
