Shrek comes alive at LEH

Everyone’s favourite ogre is returning to the stage as LEH prepares to present the much-loved musical Shrek. Packed with laughter, adventure and heartwarming moments, this family-friendly production brings the magic of the hit DreamWorks film and Broadway show to life.

The story follows Shrek, whose peaceful swamp is suddenly overrun by a host of fairytale creatures after they are banished by the villainous Lord Farquaad. In a bid to reclaim his home, Shrek reluctantly agrees to undertake a daring quest, accompanied by his loyal and endlessly talkative companion, Donkey. Along the way, they meet Princess Fiona and discover that true friendship, courage and acceptance can be found in the most unexpected places.

Audiences can look forward to colourful costumes, memorable songs, energetic dance numbers and plenty of humour as the kingdom of Duloc is brought to life on stage. Whether you are a long-time fan of Shrek or discovering the story for the first time, this promises to be a magical theatrical experience for all ages.
