It has been another busy week of sport in a rather wet week. We have had several netball fixtures with many pupils playing in school matches across the year groups. A great way to end a busy and successful term of netball overall.
We would also like to wish our Junior Cross-Country team the best of luck this weekend at the National Schools Cross Country Finals!

On Saturday, we took two teams to St Georges School, Ascot, to play indoors due to the weather. We began with our U12 A team, who delivered a strong performance. The team showed excellent through-court play and great connection, and the team should be congratulated on a fantastic win. Well done to Emily and Francesca, our MPV’s.
Our U14 A team followed with an equally impressive match. Their accurate shooting and excellent circle rotation stood out, while their defensive pressure created numerous turnovers that we were able to convert, securing a convincing win. Congratulations to Rhythm and Lara who were named MVPs of the match.
On Monday our U12 A-H teams played against St Pauls, taking part in a series of highly competitive matches. Our U12’s showcased many skills they have been developing in training, and it was fantastic to see over 80 pupils representing LEH from Thirds/Year 7. Well done to everyone and congratulations to our MPV’s as selected by the opposition: Emily, Isabelle, Vivian, Yara and Alexandra.
On Tuesday, the U13’s A-D teams played Sir William Perkins’s School. The teams demonstrated excellent skill execution, resulting in convincing wins across the board. Well done to everyone who took part and congratulations to our MPV’s: Keziah, Frankie, Vera, Evie, Jane, Immy, Sanaz and Elise.
The U14’s also played on Tuesday against Godolphin and Latymer School. Despite the challenging weather, we were able to field our A-E teams, and the players should be proud of their performances. They matches were tough, and although we came away with only a draw and a four losses, there was plenty of valuable learning on court. Congratulations to our MPV’s: Annabel, Sahana, Orla and Isabelle.
Our U16 B&C teams took on Waldegrave School on Thursday, coming away with two excellent wins. The B’s & C’s worked well to make sure they didn’t rush in attack and stuck tight on their player in defence. Congratulations to Anya, Audrey and Amira on receiving players of the match.
