Future-ready skills

The Sixth Form Enrichment Programme builds on earlier experiences, offering students choice, challenge, and preparation for life beyond school. This includes:

  • Critical reasoning and Oxbridge admissions test preparation.
  • University admissions test preparation.
  • University interview preparation and practise and bespoke in-school UCAT and MMI preparation.
  • Courses and Workshops on topics such as Oracy, Digital Literacy, Real-world graphic design, British Sign Language, Protest Art and Women’s Studies and Mandarin language and culture.
  • Brainwaves Advanced Wellbeing Toolkit.
  • Volunteering and community engagement.
  • Future Work Ready Programme including CV writing, interview techniques, and professional etiquette.

Together, these experiences ensure every student leaves Sixth Form academically prepared, emotionally resilient, and ready to make a bold impact in the world beyond school. They leave us with high level skills and experiences to support their future success whatever their next steps may be.

Links with Hampton School

At LEH, we know that girls thrive in an environment designed just for them. Research consistently shows that single-sex education helps girls unlock their full potential – giving them the confidence, freedom, and support to explore, experiment, and excel.

We recognise however, that there are many benefits of co-educational interaction and collaboration outside of academics, which is why we foster strong partnerships with our neighbours, Hampton School.

Bold Futures Programme

We have developed a joint Sixth Formers Bold Futures programme which includes a range of activities including:

  • Work-Ready Programme covering cv writing, letters of application, interviews, and assessment centre preparation.
  • Art as Activism asks the broader question of whether art can be an effective from of protest exploring three thematic strands: gender inequality, war and violence, and the environment.
