LEH’s Strategy to 2029

At LEH, we don’t just prepare our pupils for the future; we empower them to shape it.

Today’s world is fast-moving, complex, and full of both challenges and possibilities. Our role is to equip every pupil with the strength, skills and self-belief to thrive, and to lead in whatever path they choose. Character, confidence and capability are at the heart of how our students learn and grow, and the impact they go on to make.

Our new strategy, Facing the Future Undaunted, is the result of thoughtful collaboration across our school community. Pupils, parents, staff, alumnae and governors all played a part in shaping a vision that’s ambitious, inclusive, and distinctly LEH.

Together, we’ve identified four strategic objectives that will guide us in delivering an education that is exceptional, relevant and forward-looking.

Our girls are some of the most academically able in the UK. We will help them realise their potential in an environment that gives them the confidence to feel brave and undaunted about their future achievements and impact.

We will lead the way in girls’ education, drawing on the latest research to shape best practice, push boundaries and influence the wider educational landscape.

We will continue to deliver outstanding academic outcomes across the board, combining intellectual rigour with kindness, care and a culture of stretch and support.

3. A Culture of Success for All

We will foster an environment where every individual is empowered to succeed, where high standards, mutual respect and collective responsibility drive everyone to be their best.

4. A One-School Approach

We will harness the strength of being a connected community delivering a seamless educational journey from Junior School through to Sixth Form, with shared values and a united vision.

This is more than a strategy, it’s a shared commitment to the future our pupils will inherit, and the role they will play in shaping it. With courage, curiosity and compassion, LEH girls face the future undaunted, and we stand beside them every step of the way.
