Making a difference

At LEH, being part of a community is at the heart of everything we do. From our diverse school family to local partnerships and connections across the UK and beyond, we encourage students to build strong, respectful relationships. Understanding different perspectives and working together helps our girls grow into compassionate global citizens and future leaders.

Our commitment to community runs deep, driven by a clear mission: to empower our students to use their talents and education to make a positive difference. Through a vibrant extra-curricular programme, charity work, and partnerships with local schools and organisations, pupils engage with diverse groups, raise awareness of important issues, and experience the joy of giving back – both locally and globally.

We provide a varied and exciting extra-curricular programme, often coordinating with local and national charities, to give the opportunity for the whole school to get involved in charitable work, fundraising and donating.

We are fortunate to have outstanding facilities for our girls to use – and we will offer our school buildings and resources to groups and schools in the local area to help them achieve their own objectives.

Our partnership with Feltham College

LEH joined Reach Academy and Hampton School to launch Feltham College, an innovative sixth form opened in September 2022. This ground-breaking partnership brings together state and independent educators alongside leaders from business and health sectors to provide academic and vocational excellence for young people in Feltham.  LEH supports the academic courses in English, Psychology and Physics. Together with all the organisations involved we aim to make Feltham College a transformative hub for education and opportunity in the local community.

Helping children SHINE

LEH offers a vibrant 12-week programme for Year 5 girls from local state primary schools, designed to ignite a passion for learning. Led by experienced LEH teachers alongside inspiring Sixth Form mentors, pupils have the chance to explore exciting subjects beyond the National Curriculum, encouraging curiosity, creativity, and confidence in a supportive environment.

Commitment to charity

At LEH, we are committed to supporting local and national charities through dedicated special days and events that bring our whole school community together. Every year, all pupils can vote on a school charity, creating a shared sense of purpose and responsibility. Throughout the year, students actively fundraise and participate in initiatives that make a real difference, fostering compassion, teamwork, and a strong spirit of giving.
