We’re proud of our academic excellence – but we know that real confidence, character, and creativity are just as often built outside the classroom.

At LEH, your education isn’t confined to exam results. It’s brought to life across state-of-the-art facilities and 24 acres of beautiful grounds – a vibrant backdrop where you can dive into sport, the arts, clubs, societies, and shared experiences that spark lifelong passions. Here, you’ll find your voice, test your ideas, learn to collaborate, and even lead – all while doing what you love in an inspiring environment designed to support your boldest ambitions.

Whether you’re choreographing a dance piece, competing on the netball court, or debating global issues in Model UN, you’re building the kind of skills universities and employers truly value: initiative, teamwork, resilience, and empathy.

Preparing you for Bold Futures

At LEH, we’re committed to preparing you for life after school – equipping you not just to attend your chosen university, but to pursue the career of your dreams with confidence.

Our dedicated Futures Team are experts in guiding you through every step of the university application journey. From choosing the right A levels, crafting a standout UCAS application, securing meaningful work experience, to writing a compelling personal statement and preparing for interviews – you’ll have expert support all the way. For those aiming to study in the US, a specialist staff member oversees the unique application process to American universities.

We foster intellectual curiosity through lively discussion and debate, deepening your enthusiasm for the subjects you love. You’ll engage with new ideas and cutting-edge thinking in your areas of interest, preparing you to succeed in higher education.

Weekly lessons introduce a broad spectrum of career pathways and often feature inspiring visiting speakers. Admissions tutors and lecturers from leading universities regularly visit, alongside former pupils who share insights from their own university and career journeys. Each year, we host Careers and Higher Education Fairs in partnership with Hampton Boys and other local schools – connecting you with a wealth of opportunities and guidance.

Our programme goes beyond the traditional curriculum to cover essential life skills, including:

  • Leadership and team building
  • Research, study, and presentation skills
  • Employability through work experience and internships
  • Wellbeing and resilience

For students applying to Oxbridge, medical school, or universities abroad, we provide tailored expert advice from subject specialists, ensuring you’re fully prepared for these competitive paths.

It’s no surprise that most of our students secure places at Russell Group universities, and why LEH ranks among London’s top schools for Oxford and Cambridge admissions.

“Brilliant Careers Department. They have your
best interests at heart.”

Taking the Lead

At LEH, leadership isn’t about titles – it’s about action, integrity, and the courage to make a difference. Whether you’re someone who thrives centre stage or someone who prefers to lead through quiet impact, there’s a place – and a purpose – for your voice here.  In the Sixth Form, you’ll have countless opportunities to step up, speak out, and shape the culture of the school for the better.

Every role is an invitation to grow – in confidence, compassion, and capability. Whether you’re leading a committee, mentoring younger students, or driving change behind the scenes, you’ll be learning the kind of leadership that lasts a lifetime.

Alongside leadership roles, the Sixth Form at LEH offers a wealth of opportunities both within and beyond the school – from entering prestigious academic competitions like the annual LEH Martindale Essay Prize to representing LEH at external events, such as STEM events.

Trips

LEH Sixth Form offers a rich and varied programme of trips that broaden horizons, build independence, and enhance learning beyond the classroom. Residential and one-day subject trips provide valuable real-world context to A level study, from exploring classical sites in Greece to attending science lectures and theatre workshops in the UK.

Sports camps give students the opportunity to train in elite facilities both at home and abroad, with recent destinations including Shropshire and Italy. Day trips to galleries, exhibitions, and academic conferences enrich the curriculum and support university preparation.

Students can also take part in service-led experiences, such as the Adventure Society’s recent aid expedition to Borneo and our Global Action Trip, which includes visits to key political and cultural hubs. These unforgettable experiences help build confidence, leadership, and a global outlook – all central to Sixth Form life at LEH.
