Our Y7 Pupils Celebrate the life of Hundertwasser

As part of our Year 8 German cultural awareness programme, they have been researching the life and work of Austrian artist, Friedensreich Hundertwasser.

Students did some factfinding and then tested their creative skills by recreating one of his famous, colourful artworks with the best artworks will be displayed around school.

Our rich and supportive language programme empowers pupils to communicate with confidence in new languages. As their fluency grows, so does their ability to connect, collaborate and think across cultures, skills that are vital in a globalised world.

Language lessons at LEH are designed to challenge and inspire. They nurture resilience, adaptability and self-assurance, while complementing every other subject from the Humanities to the Sciences. Through languages, students gain deeper insight into global issues, international perspectives, and their place in a broader world.

Multilingualism is highly prized by employers, offering a significant advantage in careers ranging from business and diplomacy to science and engineering. At LEH, pupils are equipped not only with linguistic fluency, but with the cultural intelligence and confidence to lead on an international stage.
