From Denmark to Democratic People’s Republic of Korea, from emerging powers to long-established nations, delegates from LEH and ten other schools will step into the roles of diplomats, tasked with representing national interests on the global stage.
They will debate some of the most pressing issues facing the international community today including:
- The question of regulating the impact of Artificial Intelligence (AI) on global labour markets
- The question of limiting individual rights for reasons of counterterrorism
- The question of UN peacekeeping reform in civil war zones
Across the weekend, policy statements will be challenged, alliances will be built, and resolutions will be forged – mirroring the work of the United Nations itself. But beyond the debates and diplomacy, there’s something that keeps LEH pupils engaged in this exciting club.
