CyberFirst Girls Competition – A Fantastic Effort!

Six of our Year 9 pupils took on the exciting challenge of the CyberFirst Girls Competition, run by the National Cyber Security Centre. The competition tested problem-solving, logic, and cybersecurity skills in a fast-paced, highly competitive environment. Our pupils rose to the occasion brilliantly, showing creativity and resilience throughout.

The leaderboard was fiercely contested, particularly between our top two teams. Team DASA secured first place with an impressive 7,410 points, closely followed by Data Divas with 6,770 points. CORN also performed strongly, finishing third with 5,767 points, while Cipher Squad, Databaes, and The Delulu Girls all contributed to an outstanding collective effort.

Huge congratulations to Dayun, Arushi, Stella, and Anika, the overall winners and well done to every participant for embracing this challenge with such enthusiasm. We’ll find out in January whether our winning team progresses to the next stage, and we’re excited to see where we rank nationally. This was an incredible showcase of teamwork and talent, a big thank you to everyone involved for making it such a success!
